Azimut Exploration combines a C$26.7 million liquidity cushion, proprietary discovery technology and multi-commodity Quebec optionality with a probability-weighted five-year target of C$1.11.
Overview
Azimut Exploration is a Quebec-focused mineral explorer with 24 projects in Eeyou Istchee James Bay and four in Nunavik. Rather than operating as a conventional cash-burning single-asset junior, it uses AZtechMine™ to generate targets and farms capital-intensive exploration to partners, preserving carried interests, royalties, fees and option payments. The flagship wholly owned Elmer project hosts the Patwon deposit with 311,200 oz indicated and 513,900 oz inferred gold, while Wabamisk offers a 30-kilometre gold-antimony corridor. Partner-funded optionality includes KGHM’s C$3.4 million Kukamas program and SOQUEM’s potential C$11 million earn-in at the NNC. **Balance-sheet support is unusually strong:** February cash was C$4.1 million, marketable investments C$15.6 million, and the August financing added C$7.0 million, for approximately C$26.7 million of liquid resources. At C$0.65 and 110.3 million shares, market capitalization was C$71.70 million, so liquidity represented about 37%. Earnings are not meaningful: Q2 net income of C$10.3 million reflected non-cash investment gains, while pre-tax operating income was negative C$3.41 million. Near-term catalysts are Patwon assays, Kukamas results and Wabamisk updates; the report’s probability-weighted five-year target is C$1.11.
