FMC Corporation (FMC) Stock Analysis

FMC is a leveraged crop-chemistry turnaround where a powerful new-product pipeline and possible sale process must outrun generic pressure, covenant risk and a fragile balance sheet.

Overview

FMC is a pure-play agricultural sciences company undergoing a high-stakes strategic reset after divesting non-core businesses. However, generic competition, high leverage and post-patent pressure have pushed the stock into distressed territory. Project Foundation, debt reduction, the India business sale and a strategic review including a possible company sale create meaningful turnaround and M&A optionality, but execution risk is unusually high.
