Viscaria is a fully permitted, high-grade Swedish copper restart offering asymmetric exposure to Europe’s electrification metals deficit—if management can secure debt funding and execute the buildout on time.
Overview
Gruvaktiebolaget Viscaria is a Swedish pre-production copper developer focused on restarting the high-grade Viscaria mine in Kiruna. The project benefits from a secure Nordic jurisdiction, low-carbon infrastructure, existing underground workings, legally binding permits, and a major European offtake relationship with Aurubis. If successfully funded and built, Viscaria could become a strategic domestic supplier of copper concentrate and iron concentrate into Europe’s electrification-driven metals deficit.
